- Plain Nifty 50 or Sensex index funds only (no Next 50, equal-weight or factor indices; no ETFs or FoFs)
- At least 3 years of history and ₹500 Cr fund size
- Ranked by 3-year CAGR (same index, so higher = lower cost drag)
- Direct Plan – Growth option only; rules run automatically on the latest AMFI data (last run 6 Oct 2026)
